You are the Lanista. The arena is your empire.

Rome rewards spectacle and appetite. You own a ludus, a school of gladiatrices, and your job is to turn women into legends, into assets, into whatever the crowd and the patrons will pay for. Recruit them. Train them. Feed them. Discipline them. Send them onto the sand and collect what they earn you.

But the Empire keeps a secret beneath its marble. The longer you prosper, the more you'll notice the feasts, the requisitions, the patrons a little too interested in weight. Survive long enough and Rome will show you what it really is — and what your ludus has been feeding all along.

WHAT YOU DO

• Run the ludus day by day — balance gold, fame, scandal, and standing with the Senate, the plebs, and the merchant guilds.

• Build a roster of gladiatrices, each with their own stats, traits, and reactions. Train, equip, and learn what makes each one obey — or break.

• Fight the arena: turn-based combat across exhibitions, executions, beast matches, and tournaments.

• Court patrons, manage bonds and rivalries, and outmaneuver rival lanistas and faction edicts.

• Uncover the horror — a mid-game revelation reframes everything, and opens a whole hidden layer.

• Reach one of 8 endings, with a persistent ending gallery and New Game+.
